Homitem was created in 2014 in a small town in China. Our founder, born into a farming family, saw his parents toiling in the fields from 5 AM to late at night, their bodies wrinkled and their feet swollen from walking over 10 miles daily. After five years of experimentation, we successfully designed slippers with the goal of comforting extremely tired feet using mattress memory foam, gel insoles, and anti-shock cushioning.

We named our slippers after the words "Home" and "item," representing the "Home Relationship" we aim to capture. After graduating, our founder used his first salary to buy two pairs of slippers as gifts for his parents, expressing gratitude. Seeing the happiness on their faces, he decided to create a company with the mission of "Providing Soft and Affordable Slippers For Hard Working People."
